With ShaderFX 1.5, we've put the user interface through the ringer. We've been using ShaderFX in real production for several months now and all along we've been finding ways to speed up the work-flow and make shader creation a more pleasant experience. Here are a few examples:
We've improved the appearance of the interface, so it feels nicer to work with the nodes. We've upgraded the quick menu so you can now create an entire shader without ever needing to drag a node from the tray. All of the nodes are just a single right-click away - and you can even turn off the tray completely. We've added support for multi-subobject materials so you can assign multiple materials to your model without needing to export an FX file.
All of our improvements have been made with one goal in mind - to make complex shader creation fast and easy for any artist.
